SEMANA SANTA
This photography project captures the essence of Semana Santa in Málaga, focusing on the people, traditions, and atmosphere of this significant event. When I saw it for the first time, I was astonished by the grandiosity of the event. The thing that struck me the most was the participants' dedication.
So, my goal was to document everything happening during the event and relay the same feelings that struck me every time I participated as a viewer.
Using black and white photography, I wanted to strip off the distraction of the color and present an authentic look at both the grandeur and the intimate moments of Semana Santa, showcasing the vibrant culture and community spirit of Málaga.
